He did really well in pre-training, and in September joined Jack Channon at West Ilsley in Berkshire, who will complete his education. We hope he will be racing very soon.

At the start of 2023 Jack Channon took over the yard’s license from his dad, the legendary Mick, and has continued the good work, with 49 winners in his first year and he has already exceeded that total this year, achieving an impressive strike rate of 17% winners to runners, and won his first Group race at Longchamp into the bargain! He is a young trainer, already doing exceptionally well, and destined for the very top. The yards facilities are impressive and you can see pictures HERE

ARDAD was a high-class juvenile sprinter, who stands at Overbury Stud, and is a son of the renowned sire Kodiac. Known for his impressive speed and power, Ardad won notable races such as the Group 2 Flying Childers Stakes and the Listed Windsor Castle Stakes at Royal Ascot. He quickly made a name for himself at stud and was a leading first-season sire. His progeny have solidified his reputation as a valuable source of sprinters.

This colt’s dam is FINAL DYNASTY, by Komaite, who was a 90-rated sprinter herself. From only 14 starts she won twice and was placed 5 times, including her 2nd in the Listed Land O’Burns Fillies’ Stakes at Ayr, and 3rd in the Listed Rockingham Stakes at York.

As a broodmare, Final Dynasty has produced five winners from five runners, including Last Empire, winner of five races including the Group 3 Oak Tree Stakes at Goodwood,  and the Listed Prix de Bonneval at Chantilly. Another of her progeny,Thesme, won three races and was placed in the Listed Scarborough Stakes at Doncaster.

So this colt is from a great family. And he will be trained by a great family.

The syndicate term will run for six months until the end of March 2025. At that point we will decide whether we want to renew the lease, with the agreement of the owner.
