Description
LADY INVICTUS (2021 FILLY) is well-bred with plenty of potential, and she is likely to be in demand as a broodmare when her racing career is over. Apart from the good work she has done at home, she is rated a “20/20” match by the G1 Goldmine pedigree analysis system. This means that similarly-bred horses have been superior performers, so this mating is regarded as very good indeed. She has pleased her trainer in her early work and we think she will win races.
Lady Invictus is in training with IVAN FURTADO, who is based near Newark in Nottinghamshire. Ivan likes the filly, and will be retaining a share in her himself, which shows the confidence he has in her. She will make her debut very soon but there is still time to get involved – call us for more details.
Invincible Army is a first season sire, so his first 2 year olds are racing in 2023. He was a Group 3 winner as a 2yo, and a multiple Group winner at 3 and 4 years of age. He is a son of Invincible Spirit, who himself was a proven Group 1 sprinter. Invincible Army has already produced several winners, all of them highly rated, the first of which was Love Billy Boy, who won on his debut at Musselburgh, earning a Racing Post Rating of 88 in the process.
Lady Invictus is the second foal of Streetlady, who won two races at 2 and 3 years of age in the U.S.A., and was also second in the Cincinnati Trophy Stakes, her only three starts. She is already the dam of a winner, her only other offspring being the 3yo DUNNINGTON LAD, who won 3 races at 2 years of age, achieving a top handicap rating of 80.
The syndicate term will run until the conclusion of her 3 year old career, i.e. 30th November 2024. Unless all owners agree to retain her for another year, she will be sent to the most appropriate horses-in-training sale, closest to the end of the syndicate term.
