HOW IT WORKS

When you sign up for a share in one of our syndicates, you pay the purchase cost for your share. The initial upfront cost covers the purchase of the horse, veterinary charges and wind testing if required, sales house commission, bloodstock/agent fees, transport to and from the sales, and all training/livery costs since the date we acquired the horse.

During the syndicate period, you then pay a monthly fee to cover all training costs including veterinary and blacksmith fees. This monthly payment also covers racing costs, including jockey fees, race entries, transprt, and all registration fees payable to the British Horseracing Authority. Note that some syndicates deduct racing costs from your prize money – we do not. If a syndicate’s monthly fees seem too low, they may only be covering part of the costs.

Occasionally we have shares available on a FREE LEASE basis, with no upfront payment. In these circumstances, you receive all the benefits of full ownership, but as you are leasing the share rather than buying it you do not receive any payment from the sale of the horse.

Syndicates let you enjoy the full ownership experience at a fraction of the cost. It’s that simple.

Affordable fees – you choose the size of share to fit your budget, and your monthly payments cover everything! There will be no surprise biills!

Regular communication – frequent updates on the horse, via email, text, and Whatsapp. And you can call us any time.

Stable Visits – the chance to see the yard, watch your horse on the gallops, and have a chat with the trainer.

Prize Money – Our syndicate members receive their full share of prize money won by their horse. Unlike some syndicates, we do not deduct race entry fees and jockey fees from your prize money. So we have NO HIDDEN COSTS, we ring-fence your prize money, and cover ALL expenses in our monthly fees.

Small Syndicates – we keep syndicates small, generally no more than 12-15 people. So you are more involved, and we can guarantee every shareholder an owners badge when the horse runs.

Socially, it is always great to meet new people in your syndicate, and enjoy days out as part of a select group, with  privileged access to racecourse facilities for owners. Being part of a racing syndicate is all about having fun!

GO RACING - BADGES, NOT BALLOTS!

With an Amazing Racing syndicate, you wont be lost in the crowd, because we keep our syndicates small and manageable. You will get a guaranteed owners badge when your horse runs – so you won’t have to rely on “the luck of the draw” to be able to go and see your horse run, which often happens with larger syndicates and clubs.

Most racecourses offer free hospitality for owners (usually including a warm meal) and your complimentary badge gives you access all to all areas, including the Owners and Trainers bar, as well as a private area where you can watch your horse race.

Winning owners are usually invited to a private room at the course to be offered a celebratory glass of champagne and nibbles while they watch a replay of the race – if you’ve never experienced this, it is highly recommended!

HOW LONG IS THE SYNDICATE TERM?

For unraced 2 year olds and 3 year olds, we will generally campaign them for two seasons. AFter this period the horse will be sent to a Horses In Training sale, unless all syndicate members agree to extend the term for a further period, normally 12 months.

Older horses, or when the horse is leased, will be campaigned for a shorter syndicate term and this will be specified both in the horse’s specification on this website and in the syndicate agreement.

If at any time a horse sustains a long-term injury, or the trainer advises that tits chances of winning races is unlikely, we may choose to terminate the syndicate early and attempt to sell the horse at a horses in training sale.

DISCLAIMER

Please bear in mind that owning a racehorse share should only be undertaken for the enjoyment this will bring you the shared experience. Buying a share should not be regarded as an investment, as no future value can be guaranteed. Although we have sold horses at a significant profit in the past, this is not the norm, and in the majority of cases the value will depreciate, like a car.
