Rossa Ryan was back in the saddle and rode SUNSHINEANDBUBBLES to victory in the 1 mile 1½f apprentice handicap at Wolverhampton today. He finished off 2017 with a win on her at Southwell, so we were delighted when the partnership started 2018 in fine style by achieving back-to-back victories. Always prominent, she was pushed along into 2nd well over a furlong out. She closed on the leader entering the final furlong, and stayed on gamely to lead in the closing stages. It was a clever ride from Rossa and hopefully the handicapper will be kind to us!
