SUNSHINE AND ROSES Debut Run

SUNSHINE AND ROSES had a very satisfying debut at Chelmsford yesterday!

She was a bit sluggish out of the stalls so was slowly away, and ran a bit green at times, but she gave Charlie a great feel during the race. She travelled well, and boy did she knuckle down and run on at the finish, really stretching out gamely, finishing in 5th and only beaten 3 lengths. That was a great first run, and she showed a positive attitude that was a bit reminiscent of her dam Sunshineandbubbles.

She wasn’t even blowing after the race, so she seems to have plenty in the tank. Her jockey, Charlie Bishop, thinks she will capable of winning at 6f but that she will improve when she steps up to 7f.

A great start and lots to look forward to. A winner in waiting.
