SUNSHINEANDBUBBLES has been in tremendous form recently and she defied yet another career-high mark thanks to an injection of pace around the home turn that put all of her rivals in immediate trouble.

Rossa Ryan has certainly established a good rapport with the mare – that’s three wins and a place from five rides – and Rossa has a very clear idea now of how he wants to ride her. He looks like the leading candidate for champion apprentice this year and we hope to be able to continue our association over the summer.

With Sunshineandbubbles having won or been placed in 9 of her last 10 starts, over trips from 1 mile to 1m 4f, she has shown her versatility and toughness, and her handicap mark has risen to a level that we always thought she would be more than capable of achieving. Hopefully there is more in the tank so we can see a bit more improvement when she turns her attention to turf!
