The extended mile at Wolverhampton possibly stretched Sunshine And Roses, but she still improved on past runs and landed some more place prize money, coming 3rd to ANYWAYTHEWINDBLOWS who had run well at Chepstow last time. The bare mile might be preferable for her, as she led over 2f out, but was headed inside the final furlong, and ran out of steam in the final 110yds, while holding onto third place.
